    Smile Your Team v Manu

    Huge Game...........

We learnt a bit today and rode our luck and won

Interesting shift by BR today to 343 diamond, or 3331/3511 with a 3 man mid with Coutihno at the top sweeping.
The 3 man mid gets Gerrard in his best position to influence and keeps Allen and Henderson who are on form and consistent.
Best way to I've seen us work with Lallana/Coutihno/Sterling/Sturridge on the field.

Picking that setup, the only question for me is possibly Moreno on the left side. I'd start Moreno just because if we flex to 3421 he'd fit in better at lwb and in 3331/343-diamond Lallana can cover more positions as a sub, and of course Moreno bias

    343 diamond:

    Migs
    Can Skrtel Sahko
    Henderson Gerrard Allen
    Sterling Coutihno Moreno
    Sturridge

    3421:

    Migs
    Can Skrtel Sahko
    Henderson Gerrard Allen Moreno
    Sterling Coutihno
    Sturridge

Bench: Jones, Lovren, Toure, Jonson, Lallana, Markovic, Lucas if fit

I wouldn't change much... Not sure on the fitness of Ibe.. shame hes out injured.. I would get Sterling more central and play Ibe on the right. would mean dropping Lallana.
Otherwise I would play the same 11 today if Ibe aint ready. --- Justme

Id start gerrard on sunday. His last ever league game against them. I know it sounds sentimental but i think he'll have a blinder if he plays. --- teesred

Would love to see him play a blinder. In the cold light of day, don't know who I'd drop. Biggest game of the season seems a tricky one to re-introduce him. Part of me would rather have a more energetic player in there. Another wants one of THOSE free kicks.

Goes without saying, if he's picked, it must be on merit.

The great thing about Gerrard's substitution last night was that we had our best players on the pitch. Regardless of midfield parallelograms/ decahedrons, playing your best players makes sense to me. Therefore...

    Mighty Mig
    Can Skrtel Sakho
    Gerrard
    Hendo Allen Lallana
    Sterling Coutinho
    Sturridge

    ...and we shall tank them.

I'd start with gerrard probably ahead of lallana. We were a lot better at keeping the ball last night when he came on

I would be tempted to drop Lallana but he has performed in most of our wins against the big teams this season.
