Got called up for jury duty. Wouldn't mind doing it but had to asked to be excused. Can't afford to be in a trial for a few weeks

Why would they celebrate the 1916 uprising?

It was the start of Ireland getting independence from the UK.

Countries tend not to like being occupied by foreign forces...

Well done lad. What are you doing, something to do with dogs?

It's tough going working for yourself but it can be very rewarding

I'd offer a range of service, all of which would relate to dogs. I'll be on the Mainland getting a qualification that'll allow me to take Puppy classes under a fixed curriculum soon, two long weekends, then I'll be doing another qualification here that'll have me qualified as a trainer of adult dog classes (socialisation and basic obedience) which'd be a great string to add to the bow, as I could take, say, a Puppy class and an adult class one after the other 2 or 3 nights per week.

Would also offer Photography appointments, one-to-one behavioural appointments, assist with (and in time run) seminars with one of my mentors, plus be a dog walker, which is the bread-and-butter of the work so to speak.

If I promote myself cleverly and apply the work rate I've been doing at the Sanctuary I'll earn a reasonable living doing something I love that's good for my mental health, so fingers crossed. I've gotten so used to walking dogs that are, to be perfectly honest slightly dangerous, for no wage. To go from doing that for free to working with largely safe dogs for a wage will feel pretty nice!

Two years of volunteering, think I've earned the right to make some paper We'll see how it all pans out.
