    Trip to London

A few mates and I are planning a trip to your glorious capital!

Any recommendations about sights we have to visit that aren't too expensive for a student's budget? Also any good places to watch a Liverpool game as I think one will take place while we're there?

London... inexpensive... my brain just crashed :P

Check out Parliament quickly. Choose your favourite museum. Get pissed in Soho. That'll be the cost of a zone 1 card plus whatever you spend on alcohol.

Just buy a bag of cans and hop on an open top tour bus.

Have a look at getting one of these:
    https://www.visitbritainshop.com/world/london-visitor-oyster-card/?utm_source=visitlondon&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_c ontent=oyster_card&utm_campaign=visitlondon/

I would if I was you. Last time I was there with my girlfriend the bus driver wouldn't accept my money. Only Oyster cards or contactless debit cards, he says. Can I buy two with my debit card, I ask (girlfriend doesn't have contactless). No, he replies.

    Full of cunts, London.

Mind you, saying that, my girlfriend got us on the next bus for free because the driver was Dutch and she started speaking Dutch to him.

    Maybe it's just the English!

Go up the monument. Only a couple of quid. Good exercise and a cracking view of London. A fraction of the cost of London Eye.
