    Palace Home

Palace have won 4 of their last 6 (drawn 1, lost 1), including 2 notable away wins, versus Chelsea (2-1) and West Brom (2-0): http://www.skysports.com/football/liverpool-vs-c-palace/356671

Of course, they will be without their Mama, so we can hopefully exploit them.

Up front, they have Benteke, a man who has been playing very well (12 goals and 2 assists this season).

How would you set up? I'd stick with the fluid 3/4 at the back from last time, with Studge still on the bench:

    Mignolet

    Clyne Matip Lovren Milner
    Lucas

    Can Wijnaldum

    Phil

    Bobby Div

Can has become undroppable. Lucas deserves to start again, and will help deal with the long balls up to Big Ben.

Anybody coming back from injury can replace the youngsters on the bench.

Injury update: Lallana and Hendo are still out. Danny Ings has started running again but is "way off" being able to play matches again.

    Matip is doubtful (nnnnnooooooo!!!)

Am sure the players know its at a Anfield,. It wont be an easy game. But if we are fluent in our football like we have been in the last few matches we will cause Palace a lot of trouble

Unfortunately there seem to be a lot of injured players for us, with Matip, Lucas and Klavan all unlikely to be fit, adding to the list of Mane, Hendo and Lallana.

    So, I'd go for:

    Mignolet
    Clyne Gomez Lovren Milner
    Can
    Grujic Wiji
    Coutinho
    Origi Firmino

    OR with:

    Mignolet
    Clyne Gomez Lovren Milner
    Can Wiji
    Ojo Coutinho
    Firmino Origi

What's wrong with Matip now?, he's starting to be a bit of a sicknote.

Not seen the presser yet, didn't see anything bout Lucas/Matip being injured and thought Lallana would be back for the bench. So I'll guess I'll informed and all that Lucas and Matip will make it.

    Same team as last one.

    Migs
    Clyne Matip Lovren Milner
    Lucas
    Can Wiji
    Bobby Div Phil

Though tactically imo this might be a game for 4231 to stop the supply into big ben and get Can deeper to win headers or assist the defence.

    Same back 5

    Lucas Can
    Wiji Firmino Coutinho

    Origi

Yep a 4231/451 for me. Minor augmentation.

    Agger 2.0.

I swear, he could have been one of the best in the world, had he been less injury prone.

Muscle injury, apparently. And as our injuries tend to heal slower than normal (see Hendo for the perfect example), I wouldn't hold my breath that Klopp will have them back by Sunday.

I'm actually really curious to see Gomez play, he showed so much promise at the beginning. It will be harder to pick someone in the midfield though with Hendo, Lallana and Lucas all missing.

As for Matip, yeah, it seems we have another Agger on our hands. A solid CB will be essential this summer.

Apparently very reliable and rarely injured before joining us. Just like sakho too. We seem to break players. Only suarez, milner and Clyne in recent memory who seem almost invincible
