According to most of the media reports on the England Slovakia game only one other player on the England team was reportedly as bad as Henderson and that was Ox.
While other team players didn't have such a good game it was noted that those two were considerably worse than the rest.

Both were very poor - in the case of the Ox, it is kind of understandable, new club - always on the bench and Being hung out to dry already.... As for Jordan - well he was just...Jordan... Utterly anonymous and unable to affect a game against minnows Slovenia ( not Slovakia - different country altogether ).

Needs to improve before we play the scum...

I'm not bothered how any of them perform for the countries, I just want them to come back injury free.
If football was meant to be played in the air, god would have put grass in the sky.

He's not a holding midfielder. He's never going to be Stevie or Alonso. Push him into the main midfield positions and let him press.
Wish I had £100m to blow on silver platters of charlie and escorts from Surinam!

    Agreed.

On another note, Isnít it typical that both our Brazilians are playing late night Wednesday ( early hours of the morning here ) just before we play that shower Saturday Lunchtime... Typical.

Personally I would scrap international football altogether - at least where our players are concerned..

This. Honestly think he's on par with lallana in advanced midfield roles. Can't dribble as well but has a more than decent eye for a pass.

If Henderson wasn't captain, would he be getting slated as much?

Difficult really to have the the honour of the arm band and "try" to follow in the footsteps of previous captains.

Personally, I can't see any captain material. Not necessarily someone who can change the game aka Gerrard, but someone who can command and actually CAPTAIN their team aka Hyppia/Carragher.

Don't see the like of Henderson screaming at his team mates to put more effort in, they'll probably just laugh at him.

VVD, if he were to come in, would be an ideal candidate
