    Your team v Rafas Newcastle

The Klopp uber-doober pressing & goalscoring attacking team....

    Ward/Karius
    Gomez Matip Lovren Moreno
    Wiji
    Firmino Coutinho
    Salah Sturridge Mane

    ------------------------------
    My team

    Ward
    Gomez Matip Lovren Moreno
    Hendo Milner
    Salah Firmino Mane
    Sturridge

Or in 433, though I'd like to see a 4231
    Hendo
    Bobby Milner
    Salah Sturridge Mane

The tough call imo is the midfield two. Wiji, Can Hendo Milner. Arguments for each one and I'm not settled on my 2.

I'd like to see Sturridge get a start, which means benching one of our four stars. I've opted for Phil on the bench. Probably to replace Bobby when he picks up that knock in the second half before the international break . Mightn't be the only one either !

Subs: Migs Robertson Klavan Can Wiji Coutinho Solanke

Just use 11 outfield players. First man back does keeper.

    Mignolet
    Alexander-Arnold
    Matip
    Lovren
    Robertson
    Oxlade-Chamberlain
    Henderson
    Milner
    Mane
    Sturridge
    Coutinho

    Karius Klavan Moreno
    Can Wijnaldum Firmino
    Salah.

I think he will rest Firmino and Salah for this one. It still should be good enough to get the win.

Can and Firmino both look in need of a rest. Mignolet and Karius are both shit so we might as well see what Ward has got

Am I the only one who thinks Milner should be playing in and out? We need leadership on the field and he's the only one capable of providing it for us. But what the fuck do I know? Just a measely LFC supporter who's supported them since I was 12.

    Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is expected to make changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Spartak Moscow in midweek. The Liverpool manager may change both full-backs given the return trip from Russia, with Joe Gomez and Andrew Robertson profiting here.
Simon Mignolet will resume between the sticks after Loris Karius played in the Champions League, while Sadio Mane has served a three-match domestic ban and will also return to first-team action in the Premier League.
Daniel Sturridge, Ragnar Klavan and Georginio Wijnaldum are among those that could also benefit with game time against Newcastle.
Adam Lallana, Adam Bodgan and Nathaniel Clyne are all sidelined for the away side.

    Gomez Matip Klavan! Robertson
    Can Henderson Coutinho
    Salah Sturridge Mane

    Newcastle:

Aleksandar Mitrovic is available again after serving a three-match ban but will have to settle for a place on the bench.
Paul Dummett and Massadio Haidara remain sidelined, while Florian Lejeune may not feature until after the international break.
All in all, few changes are expected from the home side that have won three of their last four.

    Heroin Yascelles Clark Mbemba
    Hayden Merino
    Ritchie Perez Atsu
    Joselu

    Prediction: a 1-2 away win

Newcastle have won three of their last four but were beaten by Brighton last time out.
Liverpool's stuttering start to the season continued in midweek after only managing a 1-1 draw against Spartak Moscow.
Jurgen Klopp's side aren't playing badly but need to cut out defensive mistakes and refine their finishing in front of goal.
While Liverpool have not scored in their last two matches away to Newcastle, they remain favourites to win here. Klopp's side can't afford to drop more points this weekend.
