Sadio Mane is facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury on international duty, Liverpool FC can confirm.

The winger was substituted 89 minutes into Senegal's 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over the Cape Verde Islands on Saturday.

And it has now been confirmed that he picked up an injury during that fixture that could keep him out of action for up to six weeks.

Mane, whose lay-off will commence when Manchester United visit Anfield on Saturday, has scored three goals in four Premier League appearances this term.

At least coutinho can play there still missing Lallana midn.. can wij and henderson it is, or the mighty Ox..
Kev, can we call him fucking Chamberlain please?

None of us are soft southern nancy shites, so let's not copy those soppy cunts.

True. Never seen anything like the joe cole hysteria. The missing piece just after his Old Trafford goal had won the title!

Thought he'd spent a year or 2 injured before he joined us.think his winning goal has faded by thevtime we signed him.jecwas better than ox has been so far and that's saying something.

Just checked. According to google he scored his last goal for Chelsea. The title winning goal at OT. Was released a couple of weeks later and signed by us on 21st July. Then came the debut for us.... remember that?!
