    Industrious midfield.

How the fuck is Lovren involved at the expense of Trent?

The obvious two talking points are Lovren and Trent.
Lovren did hit his best form for our club as soon as VVD came in. Let's hope he is up to speed and match ready. Although i see Gomez as the long term central partner, personally.
Trent had a poor game against Napoli. he has played a lot of games in the last months. Probably needs a rest. Gomez is better at getting forward than Clyne so I see the logic there.

Maybe introducing Salah's "best friend" Lovren, can help the Egyptian pull his finger out

It's a big call for Klopp but he's watched the Napoli game and Alexander/ Lovren in training. I guess that's why he's paid the big bucks but Lovren has always got a "moment" in 90 minutes. Let's hope he doesn't sink us.

    Yeah a dirty one - should've got a booking.

Fair play to Hendo for having a word , though I'd liked to have seen him eat the ref.

A good start from us so far, as Mane has a poor control in a good position. Anfield is lively
