It's the same every summer, we don't know.

So we rely on the media, but they don't know either.

We don't know who will stay (Clyne? Lovren? Mignolet?) but we know we've 'lost' Moreno, Sturridge, 'gained' Ox, Gomez, (Lollana)

Left back concerns me most. Gomez maybe? Clyne wanted out in January despite Trent's absence.

Matip did well second half of the season but can't remember much praise for him early on.

Trent got a whole load of stick after one possibly 2 below average games. There were even people happy that he was dropped from the Barca game and we know how that turned out!

I'm not saying we shouldn't sign anyone, just think that Jurgen knows what he's doing and if the right player is available then he will get them. I still think hell make one big signing before the window shuts, possibly a forward but not in the Mbappe range. Can't see him splashing out loads on a left back (or any other defenders) or midfield as we are well stacked. I'd like another creative midfield and forward but I'm not the manager (thank god).

Klopps two big mistakes in the nou camp with hindsight. Gomez not a poor choice that can be heavily criticised, hes arguably a bit better at defending than TAA which was likely behind the decision.
But Gini at cf dear lord he stunk the place out in that game. What a poor selection, the only game I didnt make a prediction for a lfc game, would have felt dirty to not predict a win.

I wouldnt say Trent got much stick at all, nor Matip on the actual season. Gini got some for sure but he started to do better after he was dropped and did look fatigued at times.

There are plenty of players I've not rated at the club, some are still here but I recognise when they've played well. We want them all to play well every game, but we know that can't happen, that's why people should make allowances when their form dips, especially some of the youngsters.

Agree, think Gini is the most polarising player in terms of being constantly over and underrated.

Nobody's being 'Top Reds', a few on here are saying that they are putting their faith in Jurgen. If he doesn't think the squad needs vast improvements then who are we to argue? There were plenty of 'bottom reds' on here last season slagging off Matip, Gini and Trent and those 3's contribution to the season didn't end out to bad now did it?

Top Reds, Bottom Reds.....it's a football forum, every single player and the manager has been criticised, fairly and unfairly over the past couple of years.
Like it or not that's what happens on forums when you have people with differing views, nothing wrong with that.

I actually like mcdonnel but he is a fool who opens his mouth too easily. All he had to do was bite his tongue on tge Churchill issue but he couldnt and in turn alienated yet more people against the Labour party. As if they dont have enough problems marginalising servicemen he pops up with an opinion on Churchilll that was bound to get peoples backs up.
Theres sticking to your guns and then theres scuppering your chances. You have to get people onside if you want to be in office. This current Labour govt doesnt have a chance and the "media bias driven by big business" is a theory. No proof at all. Im a Labour voter but theyre frankly fucked for the foreseeable in my opinion..
Brexit has shown one thing for sure and that is you cannot trust or believe anything you read now.
