Danny Mills should stick to what he's good at, cooking I think? If you want utter bollocks for gossip, check out Don Balon, absolute garbage. I'm sure I could make up more believable false news than they do.

Think you'll find it's 'eating' not 'cooking'

Think you underestimate the medias role in society and their performance.

They're calling it minor-attracted-person nowadays in an attempt to normalise the behaviour.

Was friendly with a woman online who provides resources for survivors of rape and incest. Shes no longer supporting LGBTQ as they've added minor attracted persons to their ranks where she lives in the states.
She had to listen to a woke individual telling her she didnt understand and was insensitive to her fathers suffering. 7 and half years he suffered before being arrested for incestuous rape. You couldn't make it up how warped some people are.

Savile was at a function one night. At his table among others were Terry Wogan and a journalist. When Savile left the table, the journalist asked Wogan when he was going to expose him. Wogan replied " that's your job". He was a coward, along with everyone else that knew about him.

I tend to agree with you on this aspect as it's essentially a freedom of speech issue. As too the verbal replies.

Think its increasingly a case of not what you talk/joke about but who says the joke/label that is the problem today.
Though arguably I think its clear there are specific caricatures that wont be featuring in the press anytime soon.

Not surprised, numerous people knew about Saville and others partook in the same crimes. The BBC most certainly aided and abetted Saville. Like with Weinstein in Hollywood most knew and kept silent.

Research indicates there is a 2% genetic predisposition for pedophilia in the population. Over here its estimated about 4% of the adult population will have watched child porn. While there is a strong link between people watching child porn and subsequently commiting these acts. It's one of the taboo areas of society where informing people of the risks to children is often declined for a protection of sensibilities or manners. It's why I think the role of comedy should be unrestricted as if nothing else it breaks down barriers to discussion while the outrage caused can lead us to discussing the issue more seriously.

We had the church child sex abuse scandals over here and a severe backlash against the church as a result. It amazes me how soft the reaction has been to these same crimes when it's not priests elsewhere.
Over here we still have piss poor child protections for children in state care, while speaking with teachers about their reporting of incest including from both parents has some shocking revelations. It can take upto 3 years from reporting to removing a child from such a household/hellhole.

totally agree with this. The BBC handled Saville the way the Church handled all those paedophile priests. Utterly disgraceful. 100% agree. However, enormous difference between that and the wild accusations re-Jill Dando's murder and BBC interference with the DPP that an earlier poster alleged, and to which i was originally responding.

It was me who brought up the Jill Dando murder, I suggest you do more research. Barry George was used as a scapegoat because allegedly he had an obsession with her. When they searched his house there were no photos or scrapbooks with her photos. Having an obsession with guns doesn't make someone a murderer. He spent years in prison, and has still not got compensation. People at the BBC know the real killer, and so do a lot more people. If you don't think that corporation are capable of such things, you must have been in a coma for years.
