Hey, them's the choices. I'm sure he's a strong lad who can take someone pointing out his flaws, assess the criticism, see if it's warranted and work on it. I'm certain he's aware of his defensive shortcomings and is working on them as we speak.

Totally agree - and again, as I said in another thread, he's 20. If he improves his attacking output (even further) and makes better risk-evaluation decisions in terms of forward runs / recovery run angles and so on in the defensive side as well, he'll be an absolute Beast.

Will happily make appropriate match thread.

As for jinxing us, did a lot of the match threads last season and we did alright
Yep and it's good to see no lazy delay before starting a new thread, credit to you sid.

But posting a list of a your team before another game invites on gremlins.
Same with Aldo putting the clappers of doom on Alisson !
Cut it out you 2 and stop hexing the season so early ffs !!!

    Trent for Gomez.

Yup. Would definitely play Trent on Saturday. He’ll be relatively fresh.

Gomez is struggling a bit. At the start of last season he was fantastic so I still think he’ll come good, but needs a rest after tonight.

I'm gonna be controversial and also kill my fantasy football teams Hope's for the week.

    Adrian
    TAA Gomez Matip Robertson
    Hendo Fabinho
    Mane Firmino Shaqiri
    Origi

    Subs:
Gk2?, VVD, Milner, Gini, AOC, Salah, Keita if fit otherwise Adam Lewis.

VVD looked tired just an early season precaution, Salah looked a bit sloppy and think theres a bit of the Phils going on whereby we are utilising the individual to the detriment of the team play.

Adrian might be out due to an injury to his ankle, caused by a fan accidentally tackling him after running onto the pitch to celebrate after the penalties against Chelsea.

    Fucksake.

We're fucking cursed. Lonergan could be the oldest goalkeeper to play in the Premier League at 66.
