Smile 2019/20 PL predictions league (plus the domestic cups and EL) sign up thread

If you are interested in participating in this years Premier League predictions league (possibly plus the cups) add your name in this thread. The cut off date/time will be when the first PL game of the season kicks off.

As it stands the rules will be the same as last year i.e. 3 points for a perfectly predicted scoreline and 1 point for predicting the right result. If anyone would like a different system please put your suggestions in this thread and if enough people want a specific rule change I'll think about incorporating it.

In terms of the cups (including the EL but minus the CL for which CCTV is running his own predictions competition) I will run competitions for those as well as long as people would like them included. The rules will be the same as above, with the start dates for the domestic cups being the first game in the first round in which the PL clubs are competing, and when the first game of the group stage kicks off in the EL. Again if anyone would like a rule/format change, mention it in this thread and if there is enough call for a change I'll consider making it.

    Count mein too.

I prefer the precedent set in the world cup thread for points scoring. It was so good I cant recall it now.

Fine fine, I'll throw my Pickelhaube into the ring too. Just don't get too salty when the young whippersnapper beats you all.

As long as there's no cheating like last season from the eventual winner , that deprived me of a famous win 😂😂

Only joking, I'm up for it again and I'm seriously thinking about going for 1-1 draws for every game !!!

@Ian - fun fact: A mate of mine works in a company of over 1000 people and they have this game for the Bundeslinga. Just for fun they programmed a bot that always bets on a 2-1 home win, except when Bayern play - then it's a 2-1 Bayern win.

Apparently it wipes the floor with the humans every year. They had to resort to allowing people to only bet on three 2-1 results in a single week.
