    Local lockdowns coming into effect in parts of South Wales tomorrow evening.
    I believe these increases in positive results are down to an increase in the number of tests being done. Also, we can't ignore that many people are, and have been, complacent.

    Speaking of football and similar lock down to the one in March.. Its unlikely to happen. Imagine if the season was cancelled soon? clubs already had to pay back 300 million to the tv revenue. and lost 160 million because the chinese refused to cough it up. You are talking billions this time.

    over 6k today granted there's more tests etc but isn't that more than it was first peak?

    totally going into lockdown 2 after these new rules don't work

    the joys

    Just looked myself, not far off at all the most cases but yeah more tests etc

    As the BBC article mentions, we should be really concerned about the effects on lower tier clubs.
    I can see many clubs going bust and lower leagues being severely affected, unless something radical is done to ease the financial pressures on the lower league clubs.
