Never go all in first bid they might take somewhere around £13-14m as they aint getting £20m for him

Nope I reckon 20m at least..

He's basically english (Quota) young and can improve..... can't see him being cheap..

Unless there's some add-ons or a player, I'd trade wilson for him.

Norwich fans are clinging to the promise that "nobody leaves Norwich City for less than £20m". And they say Jamal Lewis isn't actually that good anyway (although that doesn't stop them wanting more than £10m for him).

Apparently he has years on his contract but getting relegated in the year of the covid doesn't give you much leverage in the transfer market.

It seems Solskjaer has been reading the Man Utd thread, Jesse Lingard is for sale and Alexis Sanchez has made his move to Inter permanent.

Whats the chances of Everton going in for Lingard for 40 million? their arse kissing of man-united down the years shows the love to buy their cast offs.

City's £41m for Ake has skewed the market.

    Which suits them, naturally.

No i think you are right, i think any of the 4 UK countries plus ROI counts as homegrown either by player birthplace or if a player represents them internationally.

Jamal born in Luton so in my eyes he an Englishman playing for NI. Beggars cant be choosers though even if i personally prefer to have internationals born in the country they play for.

Plenty of scope for improvement with the kid, by the time Jurgen is ready to move on Jamal may be ready to be first choice LB as Andy will then be in his 30's?

Depends on Edwards i guess, he'll want to get that CB and a LB both in for £20M or close to it, add-ons included
