Only City are saying that they pay the same wages . Lol
    That's laughable and lies probably
Double it then maybe double it again.

Liverpool v Man C wages the same lol !

    Larouci is off too normally
    Fee ?

    Question

What about our u23s and u18s

Will they be playing again in September?

If not there will be another 36 players added to the 1st team squad wanting/needing a game.

    Erm: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8083413/Liverpool-FIFTH-highest-wage-bill-world-just-Real-Madrid.html

Confirmed by Paul Joyce, I believe. This is no doubt helped out by big bonuses, but still.

If we say City pay under the table, then compare us to United.

If we give City the benefit of the doubt (personally cynical on it, but will explore this) then the only thing I can think of is the moving on of those who will have been on Monster wages and the giving out of lesser wages to their newer/younger players has brought the wage bill down overall - the likes of Kompany and Silva leaving etc.

De Bruyne is apparently on £350k per week and Sterling apparently on £300k per week, so I think it's understandable that people raise an eyebrow. It's also hard to know how large our bonuses are for meeting certain targets.

The Mbappe move is off. Hes on crutches after being crunched in a cup final game.
Disappointing, it was nailed on too.

For the benefit of the Footballing World I hope he makes a full and complete recovery with zero complications.

Hate it when a player has a "what if?" over their career - Ronaldo and Baggio could have achieved even more if it weren't for injury - Baggio did particularly well to deal with the six knee surgeries and having torn the ACL twice - Guardiola is on video (speaking in Spanish) saying to Messi, about Baggio, "the best I ever played against" and "if you turn out to be half the player he was, you'll have done well" - there will obviously have been a hint of polite buttering up there, but talent-wise Baggio was immense.

Would hate to see Mbappe's capacity reduced in any way.

Thiago has submitted an official transfer request to leave Bayern Munich, and hopefully join Liverpool.
Klopp has told management to “get the deal done”. [Abendzeitung]

Well, we may yet afford this one.

On the flip side, other clubs (suspect we will do this) might hold onto money now because their squad is in decent shape, with a view to possibly having a little more to spend the next time round.

Naturally with the recent ruling over City and people having doubts as to how well FFP can be enforced, one or two clubs might splurge. But if they are adhering to FFP it's a bit of leniency that is out there now, not a total cancellation.
Tnx for the info.....Snippets of news are not the best way to an informed opinion.....What worries me about City though is the possibility that the powers may be too scared to go after them again....
Funny how Football Clubs further down the food chain don't seem to have any breach of rules tribunals go in their favour.

There's a lot of nice stuff on Instagram from the club showing lallanas farewell with the rest of the squad. Genuine emotion on display. These boys fucking love each other man.
On Adam hes been a good servant to us and genuinely helped to get klopps playing style and philosophy off the ground here. Was probably our best attacking player in the early months of his reign, his willingness to work unbelievably hard dovetailing nicely with the early attempts to get ths high press going. Hes been so unlucky with injuries which stopped him showing his considerable talent on a more consistent basis. Good luck to him. Glad he left with medals.
