As he's still in the Champions league it's a bit of a cunt job from the rumour mungers.
Imagine if it was one of our players and we were still in it.
It's good to see the club saying nothing about it.

Theres lots if Thiago stories but they're all saying the same thing. Hes agreed a 4 year deal and found a house. Its come from a German journalist and been trotted out by everyone else.

Strange one if true. Would have thought a new contract for Wijnaldum would have been preferable to bringing in a replacement of a similar age.

Think it's bullshit, can't see anything else.

Tired of this shit now, you know we're not going to sign him because there's a load of shit all of facebook media etc.

And midfield is where we actually have depth, I wouldn't think we'd bring him in unless we sold Wij because of the contract situation.

    Found the pages source

Agreement between #Liverpool and #Alcantara. Liverpool and the player have reached an agreement over 4 years. The player even announced his departure to England to some of his teammates. Alcantara already found his house. Liverpool and #Bayern must finalize the deal. #RMCsport

    Appears you are right Teesred

Anyone know if he's any good??? he has 350k followers on twitter or is he just a lie?

    Loooooooooooooooooooooooad offff shiiiiiiiiiiit

    Indeed.

Though I think there is an argument that Wijnaldum is an 8/10 or 9/10 in a few areas, but isn't a 10/10 at anything. If (and that's all it is until anything official occurs) we bring Alcantara in, then the club / recruitment team / data analysts / Klopp feel there is something there to take us to the next step in the evolution of the side. Thiago has obvious distribution qualities that could potentially put our front three "in" more often with passes we associate with Alonso or Pirlo and that could well be what the decision-makers feel will lift us to another level.

His age doesnt fit the strategy. For the fee involved and expected wages id imagine our transfer team would rather invest it elsewhere.

    Will it happen, who knows.
At least bayern know what hes looking for terms wise

Dont think theres any argument about the fact we have depth there it's just that despite it being very good it's also very workmanlike and lacks creativity.
    Thiago solves that I think.

Have a feeling the club would rather sign him for free in January then pay the price Bayern want. I wouldn’t be surprised if personal terms have been reached. But it’s all about the transfer fee with him.
