I'm not excited about Werner at all. He'll be a different type of option for sure (if we keep the three amigos) but I've not been overly impressed with him when I've seen him play.

I've seen quite abit of him and my opinion is he will fit us like a glove.
He can play all 3 forwards position, works hard, has pace and great movement.
He is only 24 so has plenty of time to get better in 3-4 years time be at his peak.
I was going to say at £50m he is good value but with Covid19 fees will have to drop for everyone which will hopefully make the market more realistic.

Just looking at the player from teams out of contract this summer.. Jordan Ibe at Bouremouth is. We got 15 million for him. what ever happened to him? he was never this bad? Its amazing how hopes on some young players never come to fruition.

True he still has time on his hands to have a good career at Premier League / Championship.
I think one thing that lets him down is his lack of goals he needs to work on getting himself into better positions but its not as easy as i'm making it sounds it is why Mane/Salah are two of the very best at coming from wide into goal scoring positions we are very lucky to have both yet some fans see 28 years old sell em !

I agree on the sense their is plenty of time, But when your touted has something special at one point and your not that level. Must take a lot of mental strength to try and achieve something worthwhile in your career.
