What’s he doing at Wembley? Thought he’d be at home going through transfer targets and tactics with 19x.

Both are top quality CBs who have all the skills and attributes to play exactly as Jurgen wants our CBs to play, so as long as he keeps them both match fit, bringing one in for the other shouldn't effect how the team plays and if he can manage that, say both playing 25 games each without breaking down or picking up any niggles, maybe it well help the well documented long term niggle history of both
Matip's games are already managed. He doesn't play twice in a week. It's not a case of anyone else doing something to combat that, I'm sure the club have enough expertise and advice on it. Some players are just prone to injuries and he seems to be one of them.
Probably not a lot that can be done about it.
If we are already worrying about Konate it begs the question what was the point in signing him. Personally I'm hoping he won't be in and out with injury. If he is then it really is a complete cock up of a signing and a huge risk.
Like Steveo says its all on Virgil at this point. Phillips is the only other reliable CB.

We never play with an out and out forward., Its something Klopp doesn't do. If we end up with Malen Hes more a false 9 like Firmino.. We tried to get Minamino to play that role but didnt suit it. Origi hardly ever got a chance has the number 9. So its understandable why we never wanted Daka (even if the rumours were true)

Virgil isn't guaranteed to be 100% when he comes back. Same goes for Joe.
Preseason is going to be vital.

Liverpool are in 'advanced talks' to sign Brazilian midfielder Otavio, 25, from Porto as they continue their search for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum. (Express)

Seen this link a lot but he’s not in a Brazilian squad for the Copa America, which boasts Fred as a regular midfield starter.
If he’s not injured … that’s really not a good sign.
