Well that explains it, though I thought there was a chance you might miss the puns even if you weren't "three sheets to the wind".
Yep it's a shame that the fans couldn't have been in the ground or allowed to celebrate properly, especially yourself, even more so given it's been so long since we last got our hands on the title. The numbers lining the streets would have been huge. We'll just have to win the thing again next season.
I suspect that figure you quoted is much closer to 9 than 1.
Go on eggy la !
I've always been an advocate of a three pronged approach to recruitment, namely looking at youth/academy players, looking for bargains/good bits of business, and being prepared to splash the cash when a very good player or two who would be ideal for the club become available. As the saying goes "you should never put all your eggs in one basket".
Naby is hopefully becoming the player he was in Germany. I watched him a few times when he was with RB Leipzig. His forte was picking up the ball from midfield and bulldozing his way to the penalty area where he'd often unleash a 'thunderbolt'. He has done that a few times as of late and I hope that upward trend continues.
As for the DM position, I'm still not convinced we have that position sorted or that Fabinho is ideal for that position. I've always thought we could do with an out and out, quality DM, especially against very attack minded/quick/skillful teams who can get at our back line, especially when we lose the ball anywhere around the halfway line or indeed in our half of the pitch. The reason why I don't think we'll buy a quality specialist for that position is because Klopp doesn't want to employ a player whose job is just to protect our defence.
Indeed we do need to make the most of Klopp. If I was in charge of us I'd pay him whatever it took to get him to commit himself to a very long contract. I worry about what will happen to us once he leaves, especially given that managers like Klopp are very rare, and because sustained success post Klopp could well require sizeable expenditure.

I might just be reachin 10 now buddy. I will say 1 thing. I come onto this forum to read some useful insight Into peoples thoughts on how they view things in relation to lfc and through that down thorough the years you get a feel for people and in relation to your good self I know that life has been tough at times for you, and probably for a lot of people on here but if its any concelation even if I disagree with you i always beeline for your posts because you always give a good perspective on something i want to read.i may not agree with it but its reasoned and well argued and always respectful. You deserve any and all good luck that might come your way But to actually win the fecking league under klopp. I mean I'm not a God believer unless you count fowler but to finally obliterate the league with a team of extra special normal lads was brilliant. And fitting for what I think of lfc as!!

Thank you.
I try to give a well reasoned/logical view on things. I also may not agree with everything others say (hell I often don't even agree with myself), but I try to be respectful and not cause any aggro. Some people like to take the opposite approach and are seemingly not happy unless they are causing grief, mischief, or repeatedly posting snide comments/having a dig at someone or something they've said.
It's great that we've finally won the league again. We have no divine right to win anything, but it really had been far too long without us winning the title for a club of our size and standing. It does make it all the more sweeter that we've done it without being bankrolled by an entire country or multi billionaire who see us as their 'plaything'. Hopefully Klopp sticks around for a while as he fits us like a glove and I'm not sure he'd be as loved/worshiped anywhere else, including back in Germany.
As for me having luck, just check out the next predictions update when I finally post it. They do say you can't miss what you've never had, but I sure do miss having some luck despite never having had any. One prediction I suspect I may well get correct is my feeling that you're going to wake up with a sore head later on today.
81 points they managed this season. I don't see them reaching 100 points again for 20/21.
Maybe 90 or so, or maybe a mini-collapse. I would imagine playing under Pep is much like playing under Mourinho in terms of the sheer intensity - you love it if you're winning, but it might grate if you're not - if they fail to win the Champion's League this season I can see a marginal drop-off in effort from one or two - and those margins are all it takes.
Don't think we'll be getting 97 or 99 points ourselves either - but fancy we can manage 90-94, which should be enough.
So ready for it. Also so ready for the sense of unfinished business in Europe next season. Bayern might be the side to beat next year.
Absolute madness.
What’s the point of anyone also even bothering
Wolves will only be allowed to register 23 players if they qualify for the Champions League next season, after they failed to meet Uefa's Financial Fair Play target.
Wolves beat Olympiakos to reach the last eight of the Europa League on Wednesday.
It is the first time Wolves have reached the quarter-finals of a European competition in 48 years.
Winning the tournament would earn them a spot in the 2020-21 Champions League.
However, even if they manage it they will not be able to register a full quota of 25 'A List' players as punishment for spending too much.
European football's governing body Uefa revealed the information after confirming it had reached a settlement agreement with Wolves, who play Sevilla in Duisburg on Tuesday.
In addition, Wolves have agreed to report "a maximum break-even deficit of €30m (£27.1m) in the financial year ending in 2020 and to finally reach, in the 2021/22 season, an aggregate break-even result for the financial years ending in 2019, 2020 and 2021".
Wolves obviously couldn't get hold of any envelopes. Man City have caused a severe shortage.
