If you need an explanation then you are completely missing the point

Logic dictates that we as a club should harvest as many quality players as we can simply to stop other clubs having them on their books.. Would you be ok with that? It would simply mean that the richest clubs would ALWAYS win everything all the time.

You see - logic is not a basis for any society and is devoid of any morality - that's WHY capitalism HAS to end.

Its unethical because we just announced record profits 2 weeks ago. We are the European champions and about to win the league. We are rolling in dosh. And we claim that we are a big family and this means more and yadda yadda bullshit. Just because other profitable organisations are availing of it dosent mean we should be.

We would have a relatively small staff compared to the numbers employed by a lot of other big organisations too so should be able to sustain our staff until at least a proper understanding was reached among clubs and the league regarding what is to be done. We jumped in 2 footed here and dropped a major bollock

How many staff are we talking about, and how much would it be for a total weeks wages ? Crazy to think that 100 employees wages at 300 a week is 30 grand. Probably the same as a young squad player. Why would they even think people would be happy about it.

Nope. These people haven't lost their jobs. They are still contracted to the club and are still being paid by the club. The club will "claim" that money (80%) back from the government. Is it ideal? No. Do I have a moral objection to it? Not really. When the season resumes or football resumes they will be back working for the club.

    Capitalism won't end either.

Capitalism may well not end BUT the unbridled nature of the American variety has been laid bare for all the world to see. Complete with the US pirating of other nations shipments of ventilators....itself an issue that the New York govenor has highlighted as utterly disgusting and wrong within the States themselves.. Biding for peoples lives... driving the cost up and ultimately only the highest bidder able to save the most lives.

It is an antiquated sickness - it is an illness that the planet and the people cannot continue to sustain. The Royal family themselves are fully aware of just how precarious their position is - see the Queens' desperate and disastrous attempt at PR yesterday - falling flat on its arse.

People are waking up - there is no dumb down drip constant distraction when the football is off and the TV production line is out of action... people suddenly have enough time on their hands and they start to see what is real.. Very dangerous indeed for the status quo..

Now - I am fully aware that I am probably suggesting this more in hope than expectation BUT the time has come for people to wake the fuck up!..

We have to be at least as vocal against the disgusting and growing wealth divide as we all were when season ticket prices were about to be hiked.

Any logic that our owners may or may not see or seek to justify in using UK Taxpayer monies to supplement non playing staff - it is deeply deeply flawed on any moral level - totally against the values of the club - certainly those leaned on so heavily by the club in it's marketing. press and PR adventures.

Whichever way you look at it - it is simply rank opportunism at a time when people all over the land are losing their jobs or worse - losing family members or dying themselves..

No - this will not end well for FSG or the club.. Klopp must be in bits..

All this is making me think of corporate people knowing how to use the systems.

The players being asked to give 30%
Yet on the other side they will pay less taxes on their 70% of wage.

Surely companies that are making big profits need to continue paying wages.

Social benefits are for those in need not those who already have.

I'm yet to see a fair system. Because when you 'take' money from one place and give to another there is always discontent.

    A fair system doesnt exist.

I remember Tony Blair addressing french parliament explaining his work experience in france as a barman.

He was told to put his tips in a pot and at the end of the week all shared out to all the staff.

After a while he realized that he was alone to put in the pot.

He said that was his first experience of socialism.

Interesting - but to believe a single word uttered by Tony Blair - is to put your trust in a proven liar on an epic scale. A man so entrenched in the system - he has become untouchable despite being one of the biggest criminals around. If ever anyone should be on trial in the Hague it is that man yet he is STILL given a voice by the media.. Shameful

He can't complain now, he's still on PM's money despite giving it up 13 years ago, the same as all ex-prime ministers.
There are only 2 teams in Liverpool. Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves. (Bill Shankly)
