Monchengladbach game threw up a repeat of the Ramos-on-Salah "arm-bar" situation.

    Bad craic that.

2 quick goals for Hertha. Grujic involved in the first for Ibisevic and then Ibisevic assists Lukebakio

    2:0

    Make that 3:0 Cunha...

Bayern just look like the best side in Europe - and by a distance too

If the Champion's League resumes and City get past Real Madrid, Bayern are the side I would most want City to have to face.

City failing to win it - and then hopefully unable to play in this tournament until the 22/23 season would be pretty great.

Yep - that would be epic Sid.

Right now I canít see anyone left in it beating them over 2 legs. They look so assured - like they can just score at will.

Anyone kept an eye on the replay of Spain v England from Euro 96?

Gary Neville got a yellow for a potential leg-breaker. Couple of minutes later Spain are denied a blatant pen and the attacking player gets a yellow for diving. In extra-time Neville gets away with a "that's a yellow card all day" challenge when already booked.

Obviously we know through the history books they progressed to the semi-final and lost to Germany, but this match really should have had England down to 10-men (and likely a goal down) from the 55th minute onwards.

    Margins.

I remember labelling that game as the host nation fix at the time. I was accused of being very un patriotic at the time.

Spain were clearly cheated out of it.

We'll probably never know - but that was certainly an incident-laden game.

The worst competition I have seen by far though was the 2002 World Cup.

Just so blatant. Italy in particular were on the receiving end of some of the most ludicrous stuff.
