    make your all-time Reds XI?

They have this on the BBC.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51628666

I tend to avoid things like this,as its all subjective. But lets see what others come up with..
I will do mine later Obviously will be more late 80s onwards for me.

please feel free to post your 11

I think this is impossible. My default keeper would be Clemence. Every other position would depend on the line-up. I could think of multiple permutations.

The forward line is absolutely impossible but a CB pairing of Hansen & Virgil would be quite tasty.

Couldn’t bring myself to say any of that bench weren’t good enough to start any game anywhere that’s ever been played.

With the exception of Fairclough who is the best off the bench there has ever been

    Allison
To young to remember Grobbelaar at his peak.. And Allison is the for certain our best keeper in the last 30 years. To be fair we have had some tripe

Hyypia. He wasn't quick but best reader of the game since VVD.
Van Djik stands out as real quality
Trent and Roberston. ( I know the last 3 are current players. But by standard they higher than we had in a long time.
Not sure on Souness As I never saw him, But I hear he was very good.
Gerrard..need I say more.. I have him along side Souness.. But I think he was attacking midfielder I ever seen.
I have gone for Dalglish in the Number 10 role.

Barnes on the left (though Mane is not far off now)
Fowler in the middle. he was such a natural finisher..
Salah on the right.. The numbers stack up and I cant really think of another right sided player of his ability.
    Leader of all..master of none..

Are we being blind on the moment.

I bet if this was done in 2009 everyone would have Reina.

Most in my team did it over 5 years or more.

When you could afford to lose and draw a few games and still win it AND before the appalling FA, Premier League and referees association bias that started under Whiskey Face

I couldn't pick an all time 11, it's all dependent on the strength of the league at the time, the strength of other top sides, the number of other tops sides, how the officials treat you and your respective rivals, too many factors and different eras to put together an all time best 11

    but

    Number one is Henderson........................

Finally a player worthy of such a song, who actually has all the necessary attributes and talent, not just a local lad who wears his heart on his sleeve

agree it's virtually impossible, the only one definite for me would be Souness in midfield.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief
