Yes considering we didn't sell the Japan messi for 17.5m cheapest "big" name you'll get unless 36.

not sure why we didn't could of gone on salahs new contract.

Agree Ian - while his fitness record is very poor - (no exaggeration) he can’t come back quick enough for me.

He won’t be match fit and he’ll injured again before he is. Hope he’s off the books in the summer, him and Keita.
    He’s got a chest infection now…ffs lad.

    Jesus wept.

There are absolutely no arguments for keeping him if Barcelona (or Norwich City) want him. Wages off the books asap.

    No argument... ?

However - Keita has played fewer minutes than Thiago this season and he played around 1/3rd of the minutes Thiago did last season.

Since Thiago arrived in summer 2020 he has a combined 2995 minutes
in the same period, Keita has a combined 1459 mins

    With Thiago. Played 11

won 9 ----- mosly started and played 60 mins or more

Drawn 1 ----- v Chelsea only got 16 mins at the end

Lost 1 ----- v West Ham got 21 mins at the end

    Without Thiago. Played 11

    Won 5

    Drawn 5

    Lost 1

I think he has been annoyingly unavailable without question, BUT the above is all THIS season - even if we forget last season how he did very well to help haul us into a 3rd place finish - first season - pandemic year - - nasty injury from the BS - then playing often in a team with midfielders at CB

Ideal world, with all of them on top form, and firing on all cylinders, our best midfield would be

    Fabinho
    Keita. Thiago

Would have loved to see that regularly.

Was a bit skeptical when we signed him, because he's never been the fittest of players.

    isn't what we needed.

but ya know a cheap option for FSG
I can see were you're coming from, I myself was very skeptical of him going as far to say he's not good enough.
That was until I watched him live, to say I was impressed was a understatement.
