They could absolutely go down.

49 goals conceded means they are the 3rd-worst side in the League for goals conceded, have lost 4 of their last 5 matches, are currently in the relegation zone and one of the sides down there (West Ham) have 2 games in hand on them.

However with the level of congestion down there it only takes one win for any side to leapfrog a couple of other teams. If races for the Champion's League spots are messy affairs then relegation battles are on a whole other level.

Still hoping Everton get the drop but it would be so typical of them to end up beating Spurs on Monday.
