Have to get back to work here.

First leg against Benfica is away. Second leg at Anfield.

First leg of our semi-final (if we get there) is at Anfield.

    I'll take it!

That draw is the one I was hoping for. Get through that and we have the easier route. Repeat of Madrid in the final and administer the regular bumming?

Ideally yes but no chance they're making the final. They're not good enough.

I'd be worried about a Bayern semi but keys cross that bridge if we come to it. Emery might do a job on them.

I wouldn't underestimate them. They have a habit of playing in such a way where you watch them and think "surely, SURELY this lot are done?!?!" yet end up doing just enough to win anyway.

So much nous and experience in that side. When to up the tempo, when to slow it down - they're the best at all that stuff, which helps a lot to overcome their deficiencies.

Wasn't born in 1981 but I believe we beat Bayern in the semis before beating Real in Paris.

Honestly couldn't call the other quarter final draws
Atleti v City, and Real v Chelsea, close to 50/50s.

Would not write real off just yet. Decent team and good mentality.

Yes we did. Kennedy scored in a 1-1 draw away.
I'd rather we got a harder draw now as daft as it seems.
Real got a lucky break against a very overrated PSG side. I csnt see them having anywhere near enough against Chelsea.

I'll take that draw any day. Avoiding Real ,City and Chelsea is huge. As good as Benfica and Bayern are they don't scare us.
