Pure quality from Kulusevski. Spurs should be 2 or 3 behind but they are winning by 2 goals to nil

Long ball, flicked on and there’s not an Aston Villa CB to be seen as Son races clear through the middle and finishes the one on one with ease.

    Villa 0-3 Spurs

Stevie well beaten by Conte today.

To be fair he doesn’t have the same level of players. Coutinho was running the show first half and Villa should be 2 or 3 ahead at the break.

Sadly they couldn’t finish a hot dinner. Ings showing why he wasn’t good enough for us. Spurs on the other hand. A team you don’t want to face right now.

Lovely goal by Spurs, they win the ball deep in their own half, they move the ball quickly and effectively up the pitch, pass number 7 finds Son just inside the area for his second involvement in the move and he sweeps it home for 4-0.
Villa absolutely battered in this second half.

Agree. Not relishing the Spurs game.
Ings and Watkins are good but not top end players. If he had a good finisher he's got a very good side.

Even if we were to win tomorrow we still have some very tough games to negotiate.

That's true, but if (if!!!) we do beat Man City, then we are looking at 3 of the following 4 League matches being at Anfield.

If we are still top after all that (3 games left) then I find it hard to envisage us bottling it, not to mention the last game of the season (Wolves) would be another Anfield match.

Not to mention we love a clean sheet these days and that's a good platform upon which to build - especially when you look at our forward options.

Tomorrow is far and away the toughest test. Let's see where we are after that one. They're a brilliant side, but so are we.

Would rather we were playing games we have to get up for.
Look what happens when we think we just have to turn up to win …

    Leicester 1-0 Liverpool
    Brentford 3-3 Liverpool
    Liverpool 2-2 Brighton
