    F/T Brentford 0-0 Spurs

Spurs really don’t want it enough. If they come to Anfield and play like this, we will put them to the sword.

The reason Utd are still in the hunt is that everyone outside the top 3 are really much of a muchness, right down to the bottom 4 or 5.

17 points off 4th as it stands.

They could really close the gap on the Champion's League spots next season. Don't see them getting all the way there, but finishing 6th-8th doesn't look unrealistic.

No biggy, although Zinchenko should possibly have seen red at 1-0 for a foul on Dennis when last man that the ref didn't spot because the direction the ball went looked as though Zinchenko played the ball, but as he was last man, VAR should have drawn the refs attention to

We have to win all our remaining games and they have to lose or draw one, simply because it makes an absolute mockery of the Premier League otherwise, 18-19 made a mockery of it, but that was pre VAR, they can use the tired old 'these things even themselves out over the course of a season' lie for that season

This season however, discounting either of the 2 games we have lost points through plain wrong decisions and looking solely at the 2 handball decisions in 2 games they won 1-0, one by scoring a penalty awarded for a handball v Wolves which the replay very clearly showed was not a handball - The other when a penalty was not awarded to the bitters for a very clear handball by Rodri - That is 4 points they have gained, there is no dispute, subjectivity or any other bollocks excuse to explain away VAR officials with the benefit of replays from numerous different angles getting wrong

Brighton 2-1 Southampton HT Brighton have Bissouma and Trossard back and Wellcack actually looking interested instead of conveniently not making the run and miscontrolling the ball to an opposition player as he did numerous times midweek, quel surprise

Burnley 0-0 Wolves HT You feel this game really needs a Burnley goal to get themselves in front

Chelsea 0-0 West Ham HT Moyes made numerous changes playing the everyone behind the ball looking to counter system he used in their home game v us and it's working so far

SOuthampton equalise v Brighton, Ward-Prowse again

You just feel this round of fixtures really does need a Burnley goal and subsequent win
