    Elsewhere Real rest Modric, Casemiro and Diaz on the hour and let Kroos, Benzema and Isco stretch their legs

    In the big games, aside for a long ball over the top of Vinicius against us that we made ridiculously easy for him and Phillips made a rare mistake missing his header, I've always found Kroos very disappointing, I was keeping a firm eye on him in their first game v City and thought they'd be much better off getting more legs in their midfield around Modric because their players with more legs in their squad still have quality on the ball
