Well, it is what it is, very odd line up for me, you've got to wonder where the passing is coming from, Trent and Virgil by the looks of that midfield

    Alisson

    Trent Matip Van Dijk Tsimikas

    Keita Fabinho Jones

    Mane Jota Diaz

I absolutely expect our lads to administer a thorough, hard, deep penetrating bumming, get the win and another absolutely vital 3 points

Villa aren't push overs at their ground, but not entirely a bad team to take all three points. Would've liked some experience in midfield alongside Fabinho. Jones time to show what he's capable of...or not

Good decision to bench Salah and Robertson as they've been way off form recently, salah more.

3 points please and let's put the pressure back on.

If we lose or draw this game then the focus should be on the cup finals as the league challenge would be well and truly over. Disappointing, but not as devastating as some make it out to be.

Couldn't have asked for more this season to be honest, easy top four, three magnificent cup runs with potential of number 7 and Jurgen to complete winning all possible trophies

Note the absence of a third top experienced CM in all but one game points were dropped in and also Fab at No6 in games we really don't need a No6 of his type with his limited passing, although tonight, Jones has Diaz ahead of him on his side, which might just really help him

I agree with team Klopp has to keep players fresh for FA Cup / CL they are in our hands.

If we dont win tonight then we dont win it isnt going to alter our position.

    phew! salad benched FINALLY.

3 months too late i say. sorry miller, don’t be too upset!

not sure what jones is doing in there. total nothing player, run into a blind alley, back pass side pass. rinse repeat.

not an easy game especially after the weekend and the mental fatigue.

hopefully jota turns up with a brace.

I'm hoping he'll do better with Diaz ahead of him, the greater distances he covers on the left as mane and Mo used to and his relentless harrying, hustling and pressing make a big difference

There appears to be something missing from this post
