    Your team v Wolves

    Jürgen's last match.

What a ride it has been and what a legend of a human being he is for us. I'm sure we will eulogise about him at length in dedicated threads, though I for one don't have the words right now.

    Get this won.

    ..........................Alisson

    Trent....Quansah....Van Dijk..Robertson

    ........................Endo

    ................Elliott.......Mac Allister

    .........Salah......Gakpo......Núñez

Trent probably the only player worse than Endo at Villa park, Both have to show much more

Nothing to lose on Sunday, salah on the left, Diaz on the right and Gomez up the middle to break his duck. Trent in CM assisted by Thiago (who'll prob limp off after 15mins). Maybe Matip to jog about in injury time to take some applause, looking back we have missed him hugely since the injury.

Cheers for the info - had an ecology commitment so haven't seen the game.

Seen the picture of Jurgen at Anfield today, just stood in the centre of the pitch on his own.

As long as MacAllister doesn’t play at 6, he is NOT a 6. However good your 6 is on the ball, this stat is not one for a 6.
    As for Trent …

“MacAllister was dribbled past more times (four) than any other midfielder, with only Trent Alexander-Arnold (five) ending the game with more.

Across the Premier League season, he has been dribbled past 66 times, which puts him in the third percentile for players in his position.

According to Squawka, no Liverpool player has been dribbled past more in any of the past eight seasons, meaning Mac Allister’s rate is the worst of Klopp’s reign.

And per WhoScored, as a whole the Reds have been dribbled past more times (413) than any other team across Europe’s top five leagues this campaign.

Mac Allister adapted well to the demands of playing as a No. 6, but his best run of form only came when Endo was brought into the side and he was able to assume his natural role again.”

We have been way way too easy to score against particularly in the latter part of the season, we need some defensive players who can tackle on occasion

It’s killing him as much as it is killing us.

But in a way this is the most poetic way for it to end. Had we won the title it would be so natural & easy for the Red masses to show their love. Expected…. The fact that the season has ended in far less glamorous a fashion - with the team totally losing its way…. will only underscore just how much and how deeply he is loved by this club and the people of Liverpool.

I think he is in awe of the bond. He is literally tearing himself away rather than leaving. BUT he ain’t going anywhere really. Like Shankly… He is part of the foundations of this club and nothing will change that.

Agree mate and a really good way of describing it.
I saw an article on social media today saying he's underachieved.
Underachieved in who's eyes? Certainly not Liverpool fans eyes, he's created a bond matched only by Shankly. There's much more to it than just silverware.
