Tbh on that basis, I am not really that interested, even if we did manage to buy him, I think we will just be considered a convenient stepping stone rather than a final destination.. 🤨

I immediately have suspicions about any player that starts to or is rumoured to be 'fluttering their eyelashes' in the direction of the two Spanish monstrosities, particularly Real Madrid. The latter have just lost Militao to a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament with involvement of both menisci in his right leg.
I'd like us to sniff out someone with some untapped potential who would appreciate being plucked from obscurity, but I know that's a very difficult to do. Some would say we've done that with Gravenberch.
