This season he has mainly been used at right-back when Slot has utilised a 4-2-3-1 (used 4-3-3 as well) and when set up this way the "2" has mainly been Wieffer and Timber.

Seems a real utility player, which is no bad thing. Gomez was quietly one of our most useful players this season playing in a variety of positions.
