To think we win our last 3 games and we'd finish on 84 points,. that would win us the title most season prior the last 8 years.
I don't blame any of our players to an extent. be it with officiating and rule breaking with finances. The manager and players have given everything. of course we have dropped off a little of late. but even then we should have won most of the games.
At least we can say. we have been an honest club on and off the pitch. Man-city and the PGMOL can not say the same.

As for Nunez, can't work him out, the celebration when we won the league cup from him was mental. yet he misses so many easy chances. I think he'll get another season. Lets hope it clicks for him next time around
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

He was bought to score goals, yes he's scored a decent amount but if had put away the important chances we may well be in a better place.

Ahh dear, welllll he had a go.

Darwin Nunez has seemingly deleted all Liverpool-related posts from his Instagram account - with the exception of one image.

Nunez has been heavily criticised in recent weeks for his wastefulness in the final third, which coincided with others in the side such as Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz also struggling to convert chances during decisive moments.

Nunez’s latest appearance came as a substitute on Sunday afternoon against Tottenham Hotspur, with the Uruguayan first being caught offside before missing a one-on-one. The 24-year-old has now been caught offside 32 times in the Premier League this season, more than any other player, and has missed the second most big chances (27)

Been a supporter since he arrived but the last dozen games or so…. Absolutely terrible. Not linking up play, caught offside more than any other player in the league, same goes for missing easy chances.
    Poor

The abuse he receives online is absolutely disgusting, but this move just proves that he’s a man-child. If we sell him we’ll probably lose money. I’m assuming the new guy will have some input as to whether he wants him around next season.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

You’d like to think so but his role is very much defined. He is a coach pure and simple. Klopp has stated on the record that even as manager he didn’t get the last say on transfers/signings.

The new setup sees the role diminished and even less involved in that key aspect. Let’s hope it works.

Maybe a swap with Victor Osimhen or someone of that ilk

I’d like to see what he can do under the incoming coach, unless his exit would see Osimhen come in perhaps

If you look through the Feyenoord team most of their players have been developed to play to a high level in 3 or more positions as has long been the practice in Dutch football

Many of us thought of Nunez as a doer upper with immense potential that needed to be developed through playing time through all four forward positions to eventually assume the best position at the right moment & arrive to finish off moves through his experience of what is required & is expected from the player putting the ball in, that didn’t happen but maybe it could under Slot

Who knows what’s going to happen, although he has had a strop & deleted all his LFC related posts on social media after being on the bench v Spurs according to reports

Díaz didn’t seem to be quite together with all the other lads v Spurs somehow so who knows what’s happening

I’d let Diaz go & bring the Bilbao lad in, Diaz is 27 not going to improve & isn’t as good as when he arrived Bilbao lad is 22 rapidly developing with his goals and assist numbers rising quickly & already has a few highly desirable traits & abilities Diaz will never possess

It seems Nunez may have deleted all his LFC related socials as idiots have been giving him abuse

Seriously why do that to the lad? Why follow a football player anyway

I don’t blame him for our form, others missed more chances than him in that run & others made unforced errors & they absolutely kill you more than anything else

I generally think we tried to run before we could crawl & because of the injuries players were fatigued & tired in a what was a
    ridiculous schedule

A few who were flying before injury came back & still haven’t got near the levels they were producing pre injury

Think players need to do more psychological stuff around online abuse etc. I am most certain and it is obvious trolls are not necessarily your own supporters. There are psychos out there who will create burner accounts and pretend accounts etc.

Nunez should know that majority and I am certain 99.9% of supporters are behind him, we may be critical but don't ever genuine supporters will make such effort to destroy their own player and directly harm their own teams success.

It is something where players need to maybe not have public accounts. Or have a media team who attends to that account and it should just be a PR page so they shouldn't even know what is going on there unless it is life threatening etc.
