Yep.

The commercial posts are making me hate using the site. If they don't die down once the transfer window "slams shut" I can definitely foresee myself using it a lot less.

Whereas if I had to pay a small annual fee to NOT have them I'd be content enough.

It's killing the forum in my opinion. I'm not a big poster, but I read everyday. I'll soon stop coming if the flood of commercial posts continues.

if we just wanted news, there's plenty of sites, I and no doubt others use

we come on here to post and discuss about it.

Use to be another section under "off-topic" for all of them, but that's gome and now just flooding here instead.

At the moment they don't bother me. Bit like a few new members and sometimes ahead of the news. Perhaps Gary could justify their presence. Perhaps he needs them.

Tested the ignore function, doesn't really work. You still see threads posted but the sly sports post is blocked.

We have "Football Forum" and "Off-topic" - could another sub-forum be made and the admin/mod can adjust settings so that new threads made by certain accounts automatically go there instead?
