He actually only missed one game through injury that I am aware of from about October right through to the end of last season.

Looks like he might be set to have a season more like 20/21 (think that's the right one) where he only managed 10 League games.

It's massively frustrating. Had a great injury record at his previous club. I do wonder if the games he had to play (whilst carrying muscular niggles) for Guinea when we advised against have caused a long-term problem.

Needless to say we need more robust lads at the club.

Lets be honest he needs binning along with Ox when the contracts are up.

There is no reason/excuse to offer him another one.

We cant sell him as nobody would buy him anyway.

You can bet one thing he will be fit for his country he always is

Keita, Ox and Fab should have been gone after we won the league, Thiago never should have been brought in, that's one massive waste of transfer fees and wages for zero of what was expected right there

Naby has been left out of the 24 man squad for CL group stages. Big sign he is done here?

With all the injuries we will hardly give him another contract?

Look at the results with Thiago in the team.

I think there was a contract offered but it was probably on reduced wages and heavily around appearances.

I think that's why Naby "kicked off" about playing time. He then got injured. He may just be out of the CL squad because they know that he's likely to be out for 3 or 4 on the games so they may as well give the squad space to someone who is available for selection

He picked up a really bad injury when we loaned him back. I think that's what's done him longer-term for us

It has the look of a stand off around a contract and commitment. Frozen out and I can't take Nabys corner.

He and ox fitted the Mane/Salah/Bobby costs, neither came close to fulfilling the hope and both look set to be gone soon for nowt
