2nd game in 10 days that we've been out pressed.
Is investment going to be the theme of every match thread when we aren't winning?
Maybe we could talk about how sluggish certain individuals have been when we counter? Missing impetus at these corners? The blind alleys Salah has run down?
Dismal half illustrating everything we have implemented to take us backwards over the last 2 seasons in abundance
No runs in behind
No ability to mix it up
Well below par pressing and counter pressing
Mo and Diaz coming short virtually all the time
No automation
Jurgen can talk all he wants about rhythm, but you need automation for rhythm as well as games
It's everything I've been getting slated for moaning about for the past 2 seasons encapsulated in a single half of football
Over to Jurgen to ask the players if they are still able to be as devastatingly direct and do the things that made them Premier League and Champions League champions he and the coaches have been trying to coach out of them for the past 2 seasons
"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”
Got to give Newcastle credit, they've worked their bollocks off 1st half, pressed us at the back and got back behind the ball...Can they keep it up for 90??...Hope not....We're struggling...
Conceding first again.
Sloppy from Trent again.
Midfield not good enough again.
Worrying times.
Klopps a great manager but he cant see the issue is the middle. hes obsessed trying to get Elliot and Salah to over lap on the right. You can't play like that when your centre forward drops off like Firmino.. its so easy at the back for Newcastle to defend.
Elliot and Firmino is fine against Bournemouth. both 2 light weight in these games.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
