    H/T 0-0
Pretty even game, we contained them very well, only one chance for Haaland, a header on 40 minutes straight to Alisson.

We have played some very good football of our own too, just lacking a final ball or finish.

Much better than I expected, only concern is that we did a hell of a lot of running in the first half, we can't keep that up for 90 minutes.

We've worked hard to stay with em....I fear we'll ultimately run out of puff 2nd half(fingers crossed we don't)...0-0 HT...

Well I was wrong earlier. Good half from the lads. Attitude bang on from all of them. We’ve lack quality in final third. City look dangerous near the end.

Salah much more involved playing as a 9, but he’s too isolated.

Can't fault the effort so far. As Miller says though, we'll probably run out of steam 2nd half.

Bobby and Robbo need to wake up though.

Intense and quality from both sides. Don't understand why some think it is a poor game. City look dangerous in attack, but maybe a bit too slow. As for us, nobody gets at City's defence the way we do.
In the charity shield Nunez came on second half and caused havoc. just saying.

    Half time 0-0

Rodriguez by the rules could be off for 2 yellows. Came through the back of Salah, not even a foul. No yellow for what looked like a hand to ball, handball to kill a break.

Think we won the half marginally.

Robbo should probably have scored, if he could hit the target.
Elliott done better than expected. Needs to turnover some more ball when he has the chance, and failed to produce a quality pass a few times. Salah doing well to contain his feelings.

Gomez has done well, Jota & Salah too imo.

I'd hook Elliot for Trent or Hendo at halftime. If neither are fit enough, I'd hook him for nunez 10 or so mins into the second half.

City have looked dangerous on our right side, their left.
Kdb frustrated, finding a few pockets but not getting the ball. Got to keep a better eye on him second half.
