I've watched very little of the world cup so far and what I have seen has been very poor.

Typical Group stage imo. Better stuff getting going now in the 3rd round of games but the real McCoy will appear in the knockouts

Funnily enough, I've just spoke to my dad and he's just said the same. He's watched all the matches and is really looking forward to the knock out rounds. As it's go big or go home !!

Agree upsets aside the overall quality so far not great. Many dull matches.

Indeed. But if you have a Manager who plays Carasco or Thorgan Hazard as wing-backs. Whenever I have watched Belgium u can't make out what exactly he is trying to do as a Manager. They had 1 game that was wow in Euro 2016, Hazard was unplayable that day and then they lost next round resoundingly so to Wales.

Same as Portugal's so-called golden generation that never actually did anything apart from u20 WC here is another fabled so-called golden generation that did zilch. There are only 2 golden generations in my time that in my view were just unlucky they lived in a time of other top-quality teams, Sven's England and Dutch 1994-2000

I must say I was surprised Belgium couldn’t manage a single goal - they needed a win and did get a few chances late on. Croatia were abysmal in front of goal too - glorious chances fluffed. Some very poor finishing so far in many games.
