Did Allison play during Brazil's 2018 World Cup campaign?
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

To think that the last World Cup in 2018 was in Russia, we've come a long way.

    Kick-off soon.
I'm not intending to watch any of it.
Wonder if there will be any protests or such, and how will FIFA deal with anything?

During the winter break the BBC website is taking this opportunity to put women's football at the top of the agenda.

There's also a World Cup going on in Qatar, a far away place of which we know little.

    Eyes down look in!
I am going to watch this.
    World's best footballers on display.
    I am rooting for Uruguay
    Country of 4 million.
Won it twice, maybe 3 if you count the old olympic victory before the world cup proper ever got set up.
And Uruguay almost set up world football from that era. Including the first black player.
    England weren't interested back then.

    Hope you enjoy it!
Don't think about all the corruption that has led to Qatar hosting it.
Don't worry about the human rights abuses in the country.
Don't give any thought to the attitudes to LGBT+ the hosts have.
    Enjoy the football.

It doesn't seem that different to Russia 2018
