It isn't right, in any moral sense, but it isn't worse than profiteering from a club, and for the club far better. And imo no state can own a club that belongs to a specific region and indeed a community of another nation. We know why it was allowed and why it is the same states involved.
It can always go tits up. That's why I was never asking for FSG to go, just take more risks. I realise that it's a roll of the dice.
For every super rich winner there is likely a failure, Look at Mike Ashley.. One doubts that the Toon will be worse off on the pitch with their new found billions though.

Having a fortune and spending it are two quite different things entirely.
As has been mentioned… state of Blackburn since Venkeys came into the club.
FSG were always in it for themselves. They never wanted debt on the club. Because all they wanted is profit. The club's debt was paid off by the club and the profit was there's. (that's how it seemed to me)

I think they see a diminished financial return on the English game. Sell before the value of English clubs goes down
