Yep, Chelsea seem to be going from strength to strength, won their last 3 making minimal changes, keeping the same midfield in all 3, despite having 3 games in 7 days, there's a lot to be said for it, keeping the same back 3 in 2 of the 3, using their RWB's in rotation and doing some intelligent rotation of the forwards keeping 2 constants to seemingly get them interchanging between their 3 forward positions better

As much as I don't like to seem them getting up a head of steam, I can't fault it, it's a lot of what I think we should have been doing for a lot of this season and others but we haven't

In the olden days we used to never give up until it was mathematically impossible.

Man United have won 4 and drawn 1 of their last 5 games.

We also have won 4 and drawn 1 of our last 5 games.

Just cannot see it I'm afraid. We needed to be 3-6 points better off than we are and it didn't happen.

Hopefully win the Europa League next season. It isn't the Champion's League, but some great clubs are often in it and some great atmospheres. Would love something akin to our matches against Dortmund and Man United - so much fun had there.

we will end up playing Man-united in the Europa league. they never get out of the group stage pf the champions league, and lets see how Newcastle cope having to play 3 games a week in parts of the season.

    If we managed -

    - To recruit a couple of good midfielders this Summer
    - Finish 3rd/4th next season
    - Win the Europa League next season

    - then I would be absolutely over the Moon. It would be a great platform to spring from for some of our younger lads and the new ones coming in. They'd have done enough for a Champion's League spot akin to Klopp's first full season but would also have gained quality European experience from the Europa League group stage, two-legged knockout format and lifting a trophy.

Quite a lot to ask for all of it, but would put us in a great place going forward and Klopp's 2.0 side would be well on its way.
