The couple of games I have seen with the European giants who played fast and technical teams who have believed they struggled. It could be the impact of players playing almost 70 or more games a season. Yes some of the minnows have players in these leagues but some don't play often. Minamino when he aged for us for example. Also the number of injuries think it is going to be the WC with the most injuries. It is like every game 1 or 2 players who play in the big 5 leagues are dropping out with serious injuries.

We are going to see more and more upsets in world football. Too much football in Europe is going to catch up with players careers are going to be blighted by injuries

Terrible miss or miskick there from Darwin. Should have scored.

Godin hits base of post with a thumping header.
    Still 0-0.
Son looks dangerous for Korea but not getting enough of the ball.

    Decent attempt by Darwin there.
Just needed a bit more curve or else Cavani to get his head on it.

Except for Nunez, Uruguay lacking speed. Many excellent players but several past their prime.

Anyone else terrified when Nunez has the ball that he’ll be injured?

I’d love Valverde in our midfield. What a player he is.

The officiating so far is in this tournament is silly. Ticky tak fouls. Hate Ronaldo but that’s a clean play and goal all day.
