Nunez - again he misses the target - simple chance under no pressure - off his shin this time and well wide

    He should've buried that.

We have said similar of Salah so many times - needing 3 or 4 chances to score one.

So long as he keeps scoring and assisting I can put up with the miscues.

Half-time and we're level. I'll take that. They were all over us for the opening third but once we settled in we haven't been half bad, especially considering the lack of pace in our midfield.

    2-2 and penalties anyone?

Yes - would do wonders for his confidence if he could work on that technique. He gets so many opportunities, he could become seriously prolific

Darwin should have a brace. One you can let off but two? Absolute sitters.
We are predictable when playing out from the back and I worry we'll be caught out.
    Decent enough for parts.

We should be better at the back with Gomez out at RB and Phillips in his place.

We really need to defend better though, there was absolutely no organisation of the back line there whatsoever. There were numerous times where City had more than one player with the freedom of our penalty area. Shambolic, City should have at least 3.

At the other end, I am struggling to keep my old man on the Núñez bus, he’s not having him at all. I am but Jeez, he should have hit the target with at least one of his chances in that first half.

I fully expect Darwin to either score a 25 yard screamer or an overhead kick worldie. He doesn't do tap inside, this lad.

Carvalho’s finish however… that’s how you do it. Composed, perfectly timed and accurate. Football is so simple and beautiful when played like that. Matip should get plenty of plaudits for his part in it

More like and accidental flick up off his arse and in. Very unorthodox in front of goal. Hope it settles shortly.
