As far as I am aware… the only poster on here to suggest that Arsenal were a growing threat a year ago was me. I was even laughed at for it.

I mentioned it again early doors this season and again was scoffed at.

You are again trying to bend reality.

And once again. Your views on Thiago are so clearly biased. You begrudge him for being everything Hendo isn’t. Top class!

It’s totally moronic. Clearly you know more than Klopp.
He's fucking lost the plot, love the guy, but he tried this shit last season and our poor start ultimately cost us, he only changed it because of Elliot's injury, now here we are again. groundhog day, making the same clueless mistakes trying to accommodate Thiago and Elliot and trying to play tappy crappy fucking genius

Your logic is that to have a quality player in a declining team is a bad thing. That we should keep flogging the same players using the same system - that alm but killed us late Title winning season. Keep flogging players who are already flogged to death - to even more death.

The midfield is shot because of a lack of recruitment NOT because of who we bought post 2018. Because of who we DIDNT buy and who we let go.

Absolute bollocks, I posted it when it started in 20-21 and repeated it last year, maybe you mentioned it riding on my coat tails? And you and Kev were taking the piss

It was evident in their improving play and performances against other tops sides and in the VAR table. they were the side robbed of the most points by desperately corrupt VAR decisions in 20-21 and 21-22.

I do think that with the correct signings we could be pretty good next season. Not title-contention good, but certainly the Champion's League spots.

Win our game in hand and we are "only" 7 points away - and that gap is there because we have been really rubbish. That gap disappears quickly if we can just become "decent" again, which sadly doesn't look imminent.
    This is what worries me.
Even if for debates sale we bring in Bellingham by splurging it all on him it's still going to be well short of what we need to get back to the previous level.
I've always said our success is short term,I've never personally once thought it would be a long term thing under these fucking leaches. We're not primed for long term, their whole model is built around skimming the CL cream and they've managed to fuck that up now.
The only way back is through a takeover and serious money being ploughed in and I'm not even sure Klopp would spend it even if was there. He likes small squads that's a fact. Klopp takes blame too for our current predicament no doubt about that but not as much as the owners.
We're on a real bad spot now and it's very hard to see any positives. Maybe when Diaz,Virgil and Jota return we'll improve but the season cant end quick enough for me. Real is not something I'm looking forward to.

Thiago is a great player, in a certain type of team, with a certain style of play, we don't play like that, our efforts to play like that are detracting from the very best skills of all our players and it's frankly a disaster, i have seen coming and called happening every single step of the way, just as I called Arteta raising Arsenal up that you, Kev and other visiionless, clueless know nothings tried to ridicule me for, but hey look now

Steveo, it don't care what your background is, what you've done, what you do, you know absolutely fuck all about this game, how you write and your understanding and musings of the game are as desperately basic, and as lacking in any understanding or appreciation of the overall picture of the team and the finer points of that as any other pundit, all our pundits and sports writers do 'football for the lowest common denominator thicko' which is what you seem to specialise in

How am I the only person here, on this entire forum and out of all the so called professional pundits and sports writers who saw Arteta and Arsenal coming and saw our current demise coming?
This place would be a lot better if you were gone. Same babyish statements and dismissive of anyone elses opinions. You do not engage in debate or even consider others opinions. The team is in transistion just live with it, it happens it will get better it always does. We have the best manager in the world. But even he cannot work miracles getting the team back on the horse after how last season finished. Steveo is one poster here who I respect and always has a good lens on his analysis your opinions are ill indormed and border on bullying in their delivery if I could mute all your posts id be delighted.

    @19

No - you are living in your own world and you refuse to accept reality or anyone else’s views at all.

Your logic that having a player who is seeming simply incapable of playing the kind of passing that makes the very best use of our forwards and full backs and prevents other sides pressing us effectively so we are no longer able to be as devastatingly effective albeit direct going forward as we always used to be is somehow a good thing is simply the most fucked up drivel and absolute guff I have ever had the displeasure of reading over and over and over on any Liverpool forum

You profess to be a Liverpool fan, I'd have thought you'd at least be familiar with the time served and proven "If it aint broken don't fix it" ideology, Klopp broke that entirely during and following the 19-20 season and it is ultimately where his downfall and that of our team began

Since thne he has repeatedly made a catalogue of the same errors over and over and over

    Hello Steveo's second account

You can put me on ignore so you don't see them

Again, I pointed out Arsenal and Arteta's rise and our imminent decline and the reasons for it, both before they happened and was ridiculed and dismissed in a very 'babyish' way (as you so eloquently put it) by several here for it as you describe, you need to pay more attention

You wish it was my second account.

Sadly you are digging even deeper holes. I really do feel sorry for you buddy, that’s some real bad affliction you got going there.
