    Really sad. Always seemed such a nice guy.
    Beating cancer to have it return is horrid.

    My wife has been receiving treatment at the same hospital Royal Marsden - seeing him there on and off for the last year.

    She is in total shock, thought he was doing well. Told me he was only going in for check ups

    Very sad indeed.

    How tremendously sad.

    Late fifties really is young - not something you realise in your teens.

    Hopefully passed peacefully and in minimal to no discomfort.
