    Your team v Brighton

    A replay then.

    .....................Alisson

    Trent.....Matip......Konate...Robertson

    ......................Fabinho

    ..........Henderson......Keita

    Salah...........Núñez......Gakpo

Think we need to play the closest thing we can to our "strongest" XI for a few games even if some are operating well below par at present.

Don't think Gakpo did much but needs to play to get up to speed with the League.

Time to ditch Alisson and put Kelleher in. Alissons hands look like they are on strings at the moment and his kicking is terrible

I don’t really care who plays, I can’t see us beating a well organised in form team like Brighton away from home.

As usual we will gift them at least one, be poor for another and as they are good, they will probably score at least one good goal. So we will need 3 or 4 to win that one.
    No chance.

We are indeed. We're aiming to gain ground on the likes of Man United over the next couple of League games (they play Arsenal and Man City) and we need to be capitalising. Unfortunately you wouldn't really back us to beat a solid Brighton side at their place given our current form. Still - Núñez and Salah on the score-sheet tonight is a crumb of comfort, though crumb it is - our loaf looks half-baked right now.

Then onto Chelsea - the one plus side about facing them is they don't seem to score a lot of late. I'm oddly more optimistic about the Chelsea match than the Brighton one - but one hurdle at a time.

Tonight didn't inspire confidence but the road goes ever on and on.

Might as well start Keita as he is the only midfielder who actually has some energy

I'd argue he's been the only one playing to any sort of level season.

Of the problems we have Alisson isn't one of them.
