Yes Sid a real pig that result in Saaarf London…. If we play a Keita/Hendo/Milner mid with Trent @RB and Gomez @CB we won’t make the top half, never mind top 4.

    Need Nunez back ASAP

2 points behind 5th-placed Newcastle now, though they have a game in hand.

Still - feels good to be inching our way closer.

Tottenham are currently the target. Historically they have a habit of flattering to deceive ("lads, it's Spurs") but their remaining fixtures look relatively comfortable.

Where Tottenham's season might hit a wobble is mid-late April as they will play us, Man United and Newcastle in that spell. If we wish to overtake, we can't let them get too far ahead and likely have to win our match against them.

Newcastle seem to have some really difficult games left.

    They do.

They should be miles in front of us but failed to capitalise on our slump. Wins suddenly became draws.

Tottenham very much the target - Man United have gotten too far ahead.

Our upcoming run is as tough as it gets.

    Real Madrid (a)
    Man Utd (h)
    Bournemouth (a)
    Man City (a)
    Chelsea (a)
    Arsenal (h)

With a rearanged game at home to Fulham to squeeze in somewhere.

If we're in touching distance after that run then a) I'll be very suprised... and b) be in great shape considering our last 8 games.

Brighton have to play Tottenham and Newcastle - they can influence the European finishes for sure.

How mad is this. If we were to beat that shower on Sunday we would have scored more, conceded less, have a better GD and only lost one more game.
    Their form is deceiving.

It's mad that the media are raving about how good they are when they are (potentially) 7 points better off than a Liverpool side that has been "woeful" all season.

If they beat us and end up with a 13-point lead then obviously that produces a different picture, but the Wankathon over them at the minute is mad. Mourinho won trophies with them but it didn't go anywhere and they are going to be building a midfield around Casemiro by the looks of it - maybe they go on to be brilliant for 2-6 years but I don't (yet) see it.
