Safe to say this won't be the side Klopp picks (a more senior midfield and Bajcetic won't be played there) but this is probably as close to what I want us to play in terms of merit and rotation - wouldn't have played Keita for 90+ minutes and we risk burning out Thiago. Also don't know if Núñez will quite make it.

Absolutely fascinated to see what the boss picks at the weekend.

Fabinho has been terrible as the defensive midfielder! and Elliot in the 3 is a definite no!! he either plays in Salah's position or on the bench! I'd have Bajcetic as holding midfielder with Henderson and Thiago either side. I'd even sure up the back and give trent another rest with Gomez at right back.

Fair criticism - I think Fab will perform better with more energy around him hence my selection, but I doubt Klopp picks my line-up anyway so it shouldn't matter.

I quite like Dicko's front three.

Defo worth a go with this midfield and attacking lineup. Despite being so makeshift last night - we looked better defending the wide areas last night than with Trent or Robbo.
