If one department of your team is average you can get away with it, if two are you are average as a whole, if all three are, like today… wtf do we expect to see??

Fair - missing a number of attackers, missing what Trent gives to the attack, Salah out of form and not our first-choice centre-back line-up.

At least we can point to the multitude of problems - it means there are solutions to come. Likely too late for THIS season, but still.

He keeps showing his lack of experience. He has qualities but he isn’t ideal yet. Not unless he is in a team that’s bang on form. Which we ain’t. We don’t have many options though.

With the new signings not integrated it's a "good time to play them" on paper, though we have no rhythm at the moment which rather cancels that out.

Hopefully we aren't behind when it comes to the 65th-70th and that Núñez is fit to join the game.
