    Fab in for Hendo

Jota at No9 at the expense of the incredible Mane/Robbo partnership, our width and abilty to switch play and always have an outball on either side to disarm and break any attempted opposition press and the beginning of the now total and absolute loss of constant runs in behind from LFWD and RFWD supported by our full backs

Thiago for Gini further inhibiting our pressing and counter pressing and runs in behind and defensive solidity

Elliot at RCM compounding that catastrophic error still further inhibiting and preventing both Mo and Trent from playing at their best and to their strengths

Catalogued and documented by me every single step f the way, disagreed with pretty much unaminously by everyone here as the belief and ever increasingly sporadic flashes or what once was almost carried us to unexpected heights, although much or that owing to long overdue greater strength in depth in quality in our defence and forward line

But now here we are, with all the automation working relationships and almost everything that made us winners in 18-20 managed out of the side by Jurgen without the players to begin trying to make it right with back to basics, so poor has been the management recruitment and retention of those who were most important to our being successful

It's been one hell of a ride, but it's over folks, it's done, Jurgen's unravelled, dispensed with and lost all site of what made us so formidable, just as Souness laid waste to 30 years of what Shankly Paisley Fagan and Kenny built

Konate rumoured to be out injured for 3 to 4 weeks with a hamstring injury.

Matip and gomez at centre back?

What in the ever living f**k is going on!? I don't know why I'm surprised. Are we just unlucky? Is it like getting a bad batch of tiles that happen to be brittle? My word!

There really is only one irrefutable conclusion to draw. One of our rivals has engaged the services of a sorcerer who has placed a curse on us.

Massive upcoming fixture this if we don't want the Champion's League sides increasing their lead over us. Only Champion's League qualification and the Champion's League left to play for. Wouldn't be optimistic about either.

    .........................Alisson

    Trent.......Konate.....Gomez...Robertson

    ........................Bajcetic

    ...............Keita...........Thiago

    ....Salah...........Núñez........Elliott

Wouldn't particularly mind a front three of Salah/Gakpo/Núñez either, or indeed a combo that doesn't involve Salah.

Difficult season this, to say the least.
I'd drop Salah as he's not interested, also I'd drop Trent, actually, I'd play a lot of youngsters as they are hungry as the millionaires don't seem to give a fuck.

It isn't a major surprise though. He had a poor enough injury record in Germany.

Thiago was the same. I'm just surprised he has been available so much this season.

    Alisson

    Trent Matip Gomez Robertson

    Keita Henderson Thiago

    Salah Gakpo Nunez

Nearest we have to being able to play as we did 3 years ago, the automation won't return overnight, Thiago will have to employ his passing more directly, hopefully Hendo can still play those balls in behind and switches as he stopped doing and i was never sure if it was physical or by instruction from Klopp

Runs in behind fron Nunez and Mo, Wagbo looks to have great promise in the Bobby role

Robbo to back up Nunez's runs in behind to win second balls and give Trent the option of the switch or longer diagonal for Nunez

Long LONG overdue Jurgen started using our lads with what they're best at and playing to their strengths again

I always wonder about Chris Morgan's influence.

That is maybe a bit "tinfoil hat" of me to be perfectly honest, but of all the physios to have at the club, poaching the one Arsenal had when they always had lads out with injuries just looks odd on paper.

    Go with 19x team.

The defence doesn't have many options tbh.

    Milner at rb ?
Phillips or Williams at CB ?
    ONLY Lb Has other possibility.

Midfield; Bajcetic , Elliott or Oxlade or Jones.
    Not great choices.

    Front line
    Carvalho or Doak.

So I suppose the team will be 19x unless Bajcetic for Keita , and hendo no8.
